Snorkel Training

To start snorkeling you need to be at least 8 years old and have basic swimming skills. You will be taught by a nationally qualified instructor or by an assistant instructor under supervision. You will learn all the basic skills required to snorkel dive, both practical pool training and theory classroom session.

Those who have completed their basic training in the swimming pool will have the opportunity of furthering their skills in open water. Each new trainee will receive a qualification book to record their progress and sign off any skills that they have completed.

There is one information pack available for downloading. It contains more details for those who wish to join the club or those that have already joined.

Please contact our snorkeling officer, Kieron, for further details.
